Northwest Passage Wide Open

The infamous Northwest Passage is wide open again and small boats are pushing through both from the east and the west. I have had reports of 11 documented vessels making the attempt currently with no doubt a few others that will pop up on the radar screen in the weeks to come.

What a great run for the exhibit (May 5 - July 5) at the Pearson LAC! We had huge attendance for the duration of the One Island One Ocean show. Roughly 200 people attended my presentation in the Lauridsen Performing Arts Theatre for a very interesting and personal account of the Around the Americas adventure.
